Insanlar, meaning humankind, currently consists of renowned Turkish DJ Baris K and multi-instrumentalist Cem Yıldız. They first got together in 2010, for an Anatolian pop/rock revival series, ‘Minipop’ in their local Istanbul club ‘Minimüzikhol’. The first few performances of Insanlar were under the name Evdeyoklar, back then the members included Mini Bashekim, Ayyuka, Kabus Kerim and Siya Siyabend.
